Summary:
TES, Inc. often receives requests for support in preparing applications that use Low NOx boilers and dryers for new equipment installations. In this case, there were differing opinions about what Low-NOx standard should be applied. TES, Inc. assisted the client in reviewing the NOx concentration to ensure that the equipment complies with the appropriate Best Available Control Technology Low-NOx emission limit and rule limit. It is essential that operators choose carefully when installing new equipment, as making the wrong choice can mean unnecessary costs and a delay and/or failure to receive a permit.
